It’s a funny thing, kittens…. Samson and Delila will be 7 months old already on the 15th and they are rapidly outgrowing their kitteness and moving toward catness. And, that is not a bad thing…I mean, it’s what happens, just like with your kids. Eventually, they grow up.

And, just like with kids, you (read that as we the kittie lovers that we have become) spoil your little loved ones.

So, how might one spoil their beloved kitties…well, but of course. They MUST have their own special place to ‘veg’…a kittie spa, if you will.

Last night, DD and I went out to look for a few things for our upcoming trip to Belgium and happened to remember that we needed some treats for Samson because the dude won’t eat the same treats as his sister. So, we head into PetSmart and LO. AND. BEHOLD. There it was, just calling to DD. I was busy looking at foods and cool new collars and stuff like that…but DD had his eye on a kittie castle fit for a king.

After squeezing the sucker in my car (it’s a sedan folks, not a truck or even an SUV) and driving the 40 minutes it took to get home…here was the result…..

Needless to say that the selection we made for our ‘kids’ was well received…they were hysterical to watch; jumping up and down, climbing through the tube, wapping the hangy thing (which BTW, Samson already dismantled), using the scratching post parts (WOOHOO, a bonus we did NOT expect), and finding their own little personal space perches upon which to doze off…and they did!

We all slept very well last night. 🙂

How cool. I love it when a great environment really creates fun for animals (and their humans!)

Not nearly as serious as what my dad did – he built his cats an extension on the house!

I popped over via your loverly daughter… And I have to say I’m already a fan. And not because you buy such spectacular toys for your cats, but because the TV is playing a hockey game! YAY
