Haiku Friday – Belgium

haiku

waffles with whipped cream
made in heaven to die for
chocolate and beer
an eight hour flight time
movies, sleep some, and egg cakes
bring the reunion
six short days from now
it’s been eight long months without
our first born wonder
daughter’s, spirit soars
destiny has met its match
on to the future
six short days from now
it’s been eight long months without
our first born wonder

Fabulous haikus! But you forgot C’s favorite Belgian treat: Frites with Mayonnaise. Oh my goodness, he was ADDICTED to them. Good thing he’s over six feet and skinny as a rail.
